All About Maroon 5

Maroon 5 is an American pop rock band from Los Angeles, California.^[1][2][3] While they were in high school, lead vocalist and guitarist Adam Levine, keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, bass guitarist Mickey Madden, and drummer Ryan Dusick formed a garage band called Kara's Flowers and released one album in 1997. After a brief period they re-formed with guitarist James Valentine, and pursued a new, more pop-oriented direction as Maroon 5. In 2002 they released their debut album Songs About Jane, which contained four hit singles: "Harder to Breathe", "This Love", "She Will Be Loved" and "Sunday Morning"; it also enjoyed major chart success, going gold, platinum, and triple platinum in many countries around the world.^[4]
In support of Songs About Jane, Maroon 5 toured extensively throughout 2003–2005 and during that period of time two live albums were released. The band won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2005. Dusick left the band in September 2006, citing injuries sustained by constant touring, and was replaced by Matt Flynn. Maroon 5's second studio album It Won't Be Soon Before Long was released in 2007, with the singles "Makes Me Wonder", which was their first single to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, "Won't Go Home Without You" and "Wake Up Call". The band performed live in two tours between June and November 2007. During that time a compilation of previously unreleased songs, The B-Side Collection, were released.

Two more live albums and a remix album were issued in 2008. Maroon 5's third studio album Hands All Over was released in the United States on September 21, 2010. Since debuting in 2002, the band has sold over 10 million albums in the United States.
Maroon 5's biggest hit yet is "Moves Like Jagger" featuring Christina Aguilera, selling over 8 million copies worldwide as of June 2012, therefore establishing itself among the best-selling singles of all time.^[5]
On March 26, 2012, Maroon 5 announced their fourth studio album, Overexposed. It was released on June 26, 2012.^[6] The lead single "Payphone", which features rapper Wiz Khalifa, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and eventually rose to number two on the chart. The second single from the album, "One More Night", became the band's third number one single on the Billboard Hot 100. On 26 August 2012, during their Overexposed Tour in South America, Maroon 5 performed in front of 30.000 people at Arena Anhembi, São Paulo, Brazil, which according to Levine has become their biggest paying public to an exclusive concert of the band to date.

Goyang Bareng Adam Levine di Konser Maroon 5 Hari Kedua

Vokalis Maroon 5, Adam Levine tidak tampak kehilangan staminanya di konser bersama bandnya di Jakarta, Jumat (5/10/2012). Di konser hari kedua ini, Adam tetap semangat mengajak penonton menyanyi dan bergoyang bersama.

Vokalis tampan ini memang dikenal suka berjoget. Dalam beberapa lagu Maroon 5, Adam kerap terlihat memamerkan goyangan kaki dan badannya yang tentunya terlihat sangat seksi di mata kaum hawa. Pemandangan serupa diperlihatkannya sepanjang konser Maroon 5 hari kedua di Istora Senayan, Jakarta.

Juri The Voice itu sangat lincah berpindah-pindah dari tengah, ke kiri dan kanan panggung. Di setiap lagu bernada enerjik, dia pasti menggerakkan badannya mulai dari 'Payphone', 'One More Night' hingga 'Moves Like Jagger'. Khusus di lagu 'One More Night', mantan kekasih model Victoria's Secret itu beberapa kali melakukan goyangan dan gerakan yang membuat penonton wanita histeris.

Dalam sebuah wawancara, Adam pernah mengatakan tarian seksi ala Mick Jagger yang dilakukannya di lagu 'Moves Like Jagger' sebenarnya tidak benar-benar bisa dia lakukan. Dia hanya mengikuti musik dan menggerakkan badannya.

"Tarian itu untuk membuat orang melupakan kesadaran dirinya (sejenak) di lantai dansa dan hanya bergoyang, seperti Mick," ujarnya pada koran Daily Star.

Tujuan Adam tersebut sepertinya memang tercapai. Dalam konser yang berlangsung selama hampir dua jam itu, dia sukses membuat ribuan penonton di Istora Senayan melupakan kesadaran dirinya, asyik berjoget dan bernyanyi bersama vokalis 33 tahun itu.

Konser Maroon 5 hari kedua di Jakarta ini tidak jauh berbeda dengan hari pertama, di buka dengan single pertama dari album 'Overexposed', 'Payphone'. Lagu tersebut pastinya langsung disambut koor penonton. Adam Levine, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton yang berpakaian serba putih kemudian melanjutkan dengan lagu 'Makes Me Wonder' yang ada di album kedua mereka 'It Won't Be Soon Before Long'.

Dalam konser tersebut Adam beberapa kali memamerkan kepiawaiannya bermain gitar seperti di lagu 'If I Never See Your Face Again', 'Wale Up Call' dan 'This Love'. Tentu saja dia tidak melupakan teman-teman bandnya dan memperkenalkan mereka satu-persatu usai menyanyikan lagu 'Misery'.

Konser hari kedua di Jakarta ini juga jadi konser yang istimewa untuk gitaris Maroon 5, James Valentine karena dia tengah berulang tahun. Meski Adam sempat mengumumkannya pada penonton, tak ada lanjutan untuk menyanyikan Happy Birthday untuk James. Konser pun dilanjutkan hingga tak terasa hampir dua jam bersama Maroon 5.

Setelah menghilang sesaat, Maroon 5 kembali ke panggung pasca mendengar teriakan penonton 'we want more'. Empat lagu dinyanyikan Adam jelang konser berakhir mulai dari 'Stereo Hearts', 'She Will Be Loved', 'Daylight' hingga 'Moves Like Jagger'. Penonton kembali asyik bergoyang dan nyanyi bareng Maroon 5.
